Write to us and a pilot who owns an experimental aircraft will answer, usually within one business day.

Before you write
Tell us your device, the app version, and what you expected to see. A screenshot helps. Do not send logbook scans unless we ask.
Common questions
What devices does Airmass run on?
A Mac with macOS 27 or an iPad with iPadOS 27. An iPhone version comes later. One purchase covers every device.
How do I install the beta?
Install Apple’s free TestFlight app, then open our TestFlight link or scan the code on the handout. Each beta build works for 90 days, and TestFlight installs new builds for you. Purchases in the beta are free.
Do I need an Airmass account?
No. Airmass uses your Apple Account and your own iCloud. There is nothing to sign up for and no password to remember.
Does Airmass tell me my aircraft is airworthy?
No. Airmass says what your records show: records show compliance, records show noncompliance with the item named, or records incomplete with the missing record named. The pilot in command decides if the aircraft is in a condition for safe flight.
Which aircraft does it support?
Airmass is built first for experimental amateur-built and experimental light-sport aircraft. It also covers standard-category certificated aircraft and special light-sport aircraft (S-LSA) under Part 91: inspections, altimeter and transponder tests, ELT, equipment, ADs, Part 43 entries and records. For S-LSA, the manufacturer's instructions, safety directives and bulletins are tracked as items with due dates; Airmass does not read or interpret them. Part 135 and 121 operations are not covered.
Do I still need paper logbooks, and can I sign electronically?
Every signer confirms with their own passkey (iPhone, Android or security key), or signs the printed entry in ink and you scan it back in. Either way Airmass prints complete logbooks you can keep with the aircraft records.
How do I add my old logbooks?
Photograph each page. Airmass keeps the scan and helps you transcribe it, and you check each transcription before it counts.
How do I back up my records?
iCloud keeps a copy on every device signed in to your Apple Account. Export archive saves one file with every record and scan wherever you like; the app reminds you every three months. Your printed logbook is the third copy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions. Everything you entered stays available to open, print and export. You cannot add new records, and the rules stay at the edition in force on the day it ended.
