Airmass

Features

From the records you have to the logbook you print.

Every status in Airmass comes from your entries and the regulations in force on that date. Nothing is typed in twice, and nothing is a guess.

Status

One headline for the whole aircraft.

Records show compliance, records show noncompliance, or records incomplete, with the item named. Below it, everything coming due by date or hours.

  • Only items that apply to your aircraft, from its certificate, equipment and limitations
  • The records date and the last AD search date on every answer
  • Tap any item for the entry, the rule and the reason

Can I sign?

A sourced answer for light-sport repairmen.

Airmass checks your operating limitations, registration and repairman certificate, and answers Yes, No or Can't tell, with the reason and the source.

  • Tells you how to request amended limitations if yours do not name a light-sport repairman
  • Reads the whole new set when the FAA reissues your limitations
  • Handles co-owned and LLC-registered aircraft

Can I sign the condition inspection? · Amateur-built, limitations issued 2018, owner holds a light-sport repairman certificate with an airplane inspection rating

NO

Your operating limitations name only the builder and an FAA-certificated mechanic. They do not name a light-sport repairman.

  • Ask your FSDO for amended operating limitations, or send the request through the FAA AWC portal.
  • The FAA reissues the full set. Airmass reads all of it again when it arrives.

Entries and signing

The right words, signed on iPad.

Choose the work. Airmass writes the entry with the required wording, the date and the total time, in clear, simple English.

  • Condition inspection, ELT, transponder and altimeter tests, oil changes, AD compliance, equipment changes and more
  • Every signer confirms with their own passkey (iPhone, Android or security key), or signs in ink
  • Signed wording is frozen; a correction is a new entry
  • A visiting mechanic approves with a passkey on their own phone, or signs in ink

What Airmass does not do

  • It does not inspect the aircraft. It reports what the records show.
  • It does not call an aircraft airworthy. That is the pilot in command's decision.
  • It never signs for you.
  • For S-LSA, it tracks the manufacturer's instructions, safety directives and bulletins as items with due dates. It does not read or interpret those documents.
  • It does not cover Part 135 or 121 operations, or inspection programs for large or turbine aircraft.
