Built for experimental owners, builders and light-sport repairmen first
Also for certificated aircraft and S-LSA
A logbook records what was done.Airmass makes it answer questions.
Is it legal to fly? What's coming due? May I sign my own inspection? Paper logbooks can't tell you. Airmass reads every entry against the regulations in force on its date, and answers with the entry and the rule behind it.

How it gets the answer
Four layers between your records and an answer.
Your records go in at the top. The regulations, written as checked code, sit underneath. The answer comes back with its sources.
Your entries, scans, equipment and meters go into one record store. Nothing is edited; a correction is a new entry. For you: one place for every record, and logbooks you can print.
Each regulation is written as code in Lean, a language that checks proofs. Every edition keeps the date it took effect, back as far as the published record reaches. For you: the rules as they were on any date, not a typed-in interval.
Before a rule ships, thousands of test cases run against it, including cases checked by hand. Any difference stops the release. For you: a rule change cannot quietly change an answer.
A small, locked and signed engine decides every answer. The same records always give the same answer. For you: an answer you can show a buyer, an inspector or the FAA.

Can I sign the condition inspection? · Amateur-built, limitations issued 2018, owner holds a light-sport repairman certificate with an airplane inspection rating
Your operating limitations name only the builder and an FAA-certificated mechanic. They do not name a light-sport repairman.
- Ask your FSDO for amended operating limitations, or send the request through the FAA AWC portal.
- The FAA reissues the full set. Airmass reads all of it again when it arrives.

Why Airmass
Other apps remind you.Airmass proves it.
Experimental first
Reads your operating limitations and tells you if you may sign your own inspection. Certificated aircraft are covered too.
Rules as they were
Each entry is checked against the regulations in force on the day it was made. We have editions back to 1997 for the experimental rules, and are adding the rest.
Guesses
Every answer shows its record and rule. Missing records show as missing, never as compliance.
